Vornado moved those air rights next door (to the Hotel Pennsylvania site).


Looking down, you can really see how small the footprint is for this tower...

Heh, would figure though the one I found the most interesting is still in the form of a crater in the ground. Oh well, can’t be greedy, still made out pretty good.

What's the tall building just down 6th Avenue from this project (the tall one seen here at about 29th or 30th Street)?

Ever since a deal with labor unions cleared the way for the 47-story rise of Tower 111, it's been all systems go at Sixth Avenue and 32nd Street. Checking in on the current look of construction, it's clear the building won't be hit by any taxis at night while delivering pizzas.
