Normal practice in Canadian politics, but sorry to see it from JT.

Facts to back them up, as presented in the write-up:

I question why Harper haters can't or won't validate this. Canada's economy outperformed the worlds major developed economies in economic growth, job creation, and middle class income growth.
I never liked Harper as PM but I don't doubt the things you wrote about Canada's economic performance.

The economy is now even stronger under the Trudeau Liberals after being in power for two years and the unemployment rate is lower. But I credit both Harper and Trudeau governments as well as many provincial ones. There are many other measurements we need to look at as well when determining the state of Canada. Some things are health, environment, poverty rate, infrastructure and confidence. Of course there are many other things.

I work in the federal public service so I work with and know some of the changes that have taken place with the Trudeau government. Raising the tax rate for the wealthiest while giving a break to the middle class was popular but something people forget about after a year or two. The biggest changes in my opinion were introducing the tax-free Canada Child Benefit (CCB) and boosting payments for the Guaranteed Income Supplement (GIS) for with low incomes receiving Old Age Security. The new GIS rates were badly needed for a long time and made sense. But I've seen the most positive evidence with the CCB. It so nice to see many low income families being lifted out of poverty and that it means less strain on provincial social assistance programs and health care. The funny thing is that nobody seems to mention that. Also that local economies have benefited.

Stephen Harper built Canada's economy around oil. When oil dropped Canada entered a recession. Unemployment was over 7.1 percent by the time the conservatives left office.

Stephen Harper and the conservatives did not think the price of oil would drop once it did Canada whole economy tanked.

Conservative Trump lovers in Canada do not see that Trump protectionist policy regarding trade is hurting Canada.

Trump does not have the votes or support to pass any of his agenda in the USA including Health care Reform, Tax Reform, Infrastructure, Mexican Border Wall.

Also agreed

You can be opposed to JT's style and his policies, but you don't have to be crude about it.

Still hung up on that I see, but as I already mentioned it was quoted in the National Post a publication that I'm pretty sure you would too scared to read anyway.

Bill Morneau faces fines of up to $500 for not disclosing a villa that he owns in Provence.

I don't know what's more hilarious, that fact that he forgot about his French villa or that the fine is a trivial $500.

Both.

I wonder if Billy uses the same financial manager skilled in offshore accounts that JT does in managing Daddy's trust funds........

Meanwhile farmers, physicians and small business owners are going to be hung out to dry.

I'm glad though that the retail workers have dodged the bullet.
