Around The World in 30 Days Pt. 1: Seattle

To make a long story short, I'm visiting colleges around the country in the next month and I brought my camera along. While I could tell you all the places I'm visiting now, it's more fun to leave you hanging until I post a thread lol.

As the title suggests, I started off (and still am) in Seattle. This is the first time I've ever been to the Pacific Northwest and I didn't know what to expect other than rain. Now that I've been here two days though, this is the only word that comes to mind:

Wow.

You Seattleites are very lucky to call such a stunning city home. From what little I've seen of Seattle, it's definitely the third city on the west coast... it has the whole package in terms of urbanity, scenery and vibrancy that's only exceeded by SF and LA imo.

I spent my time in the University neighborhood and in Downtown. I'll separate my pics by day taken and neighborhood.

Day 1

University

Day 2

First Hill

Public Market

Belltown

Lower Queen Anne

University (Continued)

Edit: I took some more shots yesterday. Here's two shots in the university district from last night:

The rest are from today.

Day 3

University

Eastlake

University (Continued)

Fantastic! We've been lacking photo threads of Seattle lately(*). This is a good one!

(*due in part to me not being a photographer!)

Great tour across Seattle, of course!

Thank you very much for these nice pictures. I´ve liked them very much.

Seattle looks like a pleasant city, quiet and pretty.

Congratulations and greetings from Madrid, Spain!

Very nice! You covered a couple of less-seen areas. Looking forward to the rest of your tour of other cities.

Very enjoyable photo set. Doesn't look like a terrible place to attend school
