How to resize a photo in a post

I was trying to resize a photo found on the net using BBCode and had no luck. Can someone tell me how to resize an internet image within the post. Any help would be appreciated as I am not to good with code.

You still need a host site like Flickr don't you?

I rehost all images to imgur, as who knows when the original host might take it down. Rehosting to imgur is extremely quick and easy, and requires no account, just go to www.imgur.com and paste the image url, paste from clipboard, drag and drop from desktop, etc.

Once an image is hosted on imgur, you can set sizes by adding a letter to the image url, just before the file extension:

(from https://api.imgur.com/models/image)

For example with the following image:

Original http://i.imgur.com/WSIjruB.jpg (1400x819)

Medium http://i.imgur.com/WSIjruBm.jpg (320x187)

Large http://i.imgur.com/WSIjruBl.jpg (640x374)

Huge http://i.imgur.com/WSIjruBh.jpg (1024x599)

Then you can make an image link to the original by wrapping the [img] tags in a [url=][url] linking to the full size image's url.

So [url=http://i.imgur.com/WSIjruB.jpg][img]http://i.imgur.com/WSIjruBm.jpg[/img][/url] will display..
