I am grateful for everyone's comments, but it means a lot that you liked my shots. Thank you for all you've contributed so the rest of us can really enjoy Chicago, you really are one of the best city photographers I've ever come across!

HomrQT these shots are awesome. I am heading to Chicago for 10 days at the end of July and this set has got me all reved up. This will be my fourth time there but it never gets old. I definetly will be taking the river architecture tour this time. We decided to stay in the thick of it as well at the Hard Rock in the old Union Carbide building. Why visit Chicago if you can't immerse yourself in her LOL.

Thank you, HomrQT, for sharing these great photos!

I'll be spending some time in Chicago in a few weeks.

Could you please tell me the location of where you took the first photograph? Is that in Lincoln Park, or closer south somewhere else, or what? I would appreciate it much if you will take the time to reply.

Glad you guys enjoyed. =)

I took the first shot at the end of Diversey Parkway at the lake. Just walk around the harbor and get to the walkway that sits right on the lake and turn to the city. There's also another shot just like that one but closer to the city at the end of North Ave at the lake. Same deal, when you get to the end of North Ave, just keep making your way towards the lake. There's a walkway all along the lake and Lincoln Park that provide pretty good views.
