Meet and Greet?

So, I've been thinking, since we all share an interest in the developments going on in Portland, what do you all think of a meet and greet?

Now I DO have a few reservations, since I treasure my anonymity, but I think the benefits outweigh the negatives. It would be kind of cool to put a face with the name, and also realize there's a real person on the other end of my occasionally snarky comments! ;-D

I was thinking we could meet at a local pub downtown, shoot the breeze, put back some brews, and maybe check out the progress of a few of the local projects.

Thoughts?

If planned closer to Spring I would enjoy driving up to Portland.

If you're meeting downtown, I'll drop by.

I would be interested. When I lived in Glasgow, I did this a few times with people from Skyscrapercity. Invariably, a good time was had by all.
