Kananaskis Country Near Banff Alberta

It was a beautiful spring day and a great day to go to Kananaskis Country near Banff.

There are very many walks, streams and ponds in the park

These are taken from a ridge near Kananaksis Village. It's not really a village but a few hotels and is the spot where a G8 conference was held a few years ago. In the base of the valley is a great golf course.

First the valley.

The mountians looking down on the valley

Here are a few close-ups of the golf course.

The club house is in there somewhere

Nice thread! I love Kananaskis. We are so lucky to have such a beautiful valley and park so close to the city.

I love K-Country! I spent 3 years of my life working there at the Lodge. The Wedge, Fisher Peak and the golf courses....wow!

I have had a many shitty scout camp in K-Country when I was but a preteen. These great shots have brought back those painful memories. Thank you.
