Towers on these parcels are long overdue. I said a while back we all have to be patient, and with this property, it is the case. Something will rise here, we just have to wait.

LIC boomed without Silvercup rising, and its time will come now that the environmental aspect is finished. If anything, its overdue. Hopefully a different design. I'd like a similar complex the likes of Tishman's LIC Towers.

Since the original idea all that time ago was aimed at establishing a novel presence in the boro's part of the cityscape, they'll come up with something fitting for today's potential tenant/buyer.

One thing is absolutely needful:

Since this project almost directly abuts a tower of the venerable 59th St. Bridge, the architecthad better be someone who knows how to contextualize.
