Pennsgrant, great pic. Over the years, I have seen many redundant angles. Never seen one from this one. Thank you.

Agreed. Pennsgrant, I love the way you captured the glassy city on a rainy evening. The clouds and darkening sky give the city a much more interesting depth than the usual sunny pics.

Looks like 2116 Chestnut will make a nice little addition to the skyline view from the Art Museum.

They still don't have a website up: http://2116chestnut.com/

Does anyone have any idea what the floor plans and rent will be like? Even ballpark estimates would be something

The top is coming into view from the north. I see it from near the north wall of Eastern State Pen along Corinthian Avenue now.

Very nice

I also noticed that this will be visible from Sister Cities Park. You can see it through Commerce Square

i know this is a touchy subject for many, but IMHO this is a massive improvement over sidney hillman. thank you summer, as always, for the pics.

just the street frontage alone speaks volumes, i feel like i'm looking at a different chestnut st than i've ever known at this end of CC.

Well, Phil, I must admit that I was a SHC supporter but as I walk by this new building I can already anticipate the vitality this will bring to Chestnut West. Unlike the SHC which, while cool to look at, was a quiet, nighttime urinal for the homeless and the revelers from the concert hall across the street. This project should prove to help invigorate this end of Chestnut which is sorely needed. And...it ain't too bad looking to boot, IMHO.
