Eye of the beholder and everything, but its location certainly is the biggest issue. It just seems no respect was given to Independence Hall and the immediate area.

Any word on the retail space? Can't imagine they let just anything in there. Perhaps an upscale B,L,D place? Something that can room-serve the residents (to be on-par with the amenities of the Residence at the Ritz)

i was under the impression that this was retail-free as well (though i am far from certain on this).

also, this is starting to look very sharp in person; should really be a gorgeous addition to the neighborhood. now hopefully they can wrap this up and get moving on the next spot at the ritz...

I heard Five Below signed a 15 year lease in the ground floor. Supposedly it's incorporated with the lobby, so the residents walk through the Five Below to access the elevators to their units.

Some kind of work being done above the last pour floor plate next to the mechanicals. There's 3 panes of glass lined up vertically of which two of them are connected to the 2 lower floors. Could be an add-on penthouse?
