Anybody who’s ever muttered, “I could have caught that pass,” while watching an NFL football game will get a chance to prove it at the “Vikings Voyage,” the team’s hall of fame that opening next month at the new U.S. Bank Stadium.

...

The voyage be open on Vikings game days for ticketed fans only. Admission is free, but fans will need to signup through the Vikings for a ticketed admission time. Dreesen said the space can accommodate about 250 fans at capacity.

Upon entering, fans will get a silicon wristband that tracks and logs their activities so they can see how they measure against players and other fans. Along the way, fans can test their vertical jumps against Vikings wide receivers, their foot speed against the running backs, their hitting force against linebackers and their ability to catch a pass in defensive traffic.

Thanks ever so much for the updates, I eagerly look forward to seeing them, as I lived in Minneapolis from 1972-1993, living first around Loring Park, then Cedar Square West (now Cedar Riverside) and then to a condo in Elliott Park.

I didn't think there was any more land to develop on the West Bank, and perhaps, by now, those Nimby's that stopped the other 9 phases of Cedar Square West, back in the early 70's, are dead now!

Time-Lapse Video Captures Scale of U.S. Bank Stadium

Quote:
The National Football League's Minnesota Vikings have a brand new home. Their first game in the state-of-the-art U.S. Bank Stadium was held on September 18, 2016, starting the season off with a win against the Green Bay Packers. As the team settles into their pristine digs and fans familiarize themselves with the massive space, understanding the scale of the $1 billion facility was made a little easier by a recently released time-lapse movie by EarthCam.
