this tower is part of the 7 towers.....so yes it is!

it is the first tower on your left!

Hi Carlos, walked around your hood on Tuesday and took these

Somebody in the thread asked about transportation so I thought I'd start with a couple shots in regard-

Here you can see the LIRR to the left and the entrance to Queens Midtown Tunnel (from Pulaski Bridge)

One of the many entrances to the nearest subway station, with bike parking.

The short walk to the project features some amazing street views!

LIC is getting dense

Southernmost school is coming along nicely

Northernmost tower continues to rise

Nice little curved canyon happening

Northernmost school

BTW, is there a thread for Hunters Point South? I got out in the dirt there and took some nice shots if there is.

This is interesting. It looks like they are starting to clear trailers at the site of the final tower. Also, it looks like they are pouring floors all the way to 5th st. Maybe the dropped the garage, or maybe they're putting apartments around the outside of it, which would be incredible and pure genius. Has there been any action on any of the multitude of derelict 5th st sites?

The most recent schedule A still shows a ridiculous amount of parking (120 spaces on the ground level, then 166 spaces on levels 2-6) despite the other garages here being pretty empty from what I can tell. Maybe they're just pouring the Garage instead of prefab, because the same schedule A only shows 20 apts on these floors, which is not so many more than all the other floors. It's unlikely these apts are so huge as to take up that whole space. Oh well. Maybe everything facing 5th st will someday be refinished so it's not a desolate row of parking garages.

Incidentally, everything is all filed and ready to go on the final building at 46-10 Center. It's on for 25 stories, 258 feet, and 585 apartments. That's only a little bit taller than 3EC (200ft) next to it.

I disagree with you regarding the parking garages, we keep our Saab at the garage at 4705 and it is crowded! we park on the 4th floor....parking used to be free on the streets but not anymore!

I'm one of those few New Yorkers that loves to drive, and hates taking public in the outer-boroughs. Therefore, I love it when new apartment buildings include a lot of parking.

They did it quickly

From the first photo it looked that it was going to take more than 20 days!

Also, I thoght it was going to be wider
