It will truely come to life when two major projects get under way - city center redevelopment and construction of new railway station. These two developments together with bunch of new highrises and skyscrapers will give Katowice a completely new modern look.

Remaining cities in the conturbation all have their own little projects in the works but Katowice will be the most interesting one to watch in years to come.

Quite an array of structures. Good to see this city getting on the skyscraper map.

I especially like this project. Modern, simple, elegant without much kitsch.

I would argue if this is really modern
Quite simple, a little trashy, but not modern IMO

I like this one and this one. The latter especially, it's like a modernized version of Art Moderne.

I have some question about diagram of Katowice
Exactly is this possible to join diagrams of Katowice, Sosnowiec Gliwice and Siemianowice in One which will have name for example “Aglomeracja Slaska”.
Maybe someone will know where I should ask about it, because I am new here and don’t know.

However situation when all Silesian Cities will be join in one should be beter because now it is one city organism “GZM” and real many people don’t know where is end of one city and where began other. For Example on this site Bytkow Tower is in two place Katowcie and Siemanowice. Really I don’t know in which one this Tower is. But if we Join this Cities, problem will disappear.
