The Argos are turning into the Alouettes so gradually, you'll hardly even notice.

Salary dump big time, SJ is top 2 or 3 highest paid receivers in the league and with signing Earnest Jackson, not surprised he was traded

I still remember that catch week 1 vs Sask. a couple of years ago....insane

Does anybody have any objections of Jim Lawson becoming the commissioner, I've always liked the way he's handled himself stepping in on an interim basis. I know he's got a pretty good gig at Woodbine, I checked an article from 2015 that said he earned around 375K, surely the commissioner earns a lot more than.

Brock Sunderland named Eskies GM. This is a good move for the Eskimos, they could have been in limbo for a while but have found a suitable man ready to make the jump to GM.

Riders Sign Quarterback Jake Heaps

So we totally have no idea what we're doing at QB. Good to know. How many potentials do we have now? Six? I can name three pretty big names and a couple of others.

Hopefully the Stamps break with Calgary tradition and don't choke this year!

I admit I have my green goggles on but talking to the publicist and saying they worked out Johnny Football is a pretty big leap!

But where there is smoke there's fire, and with the signing of Vince Young, it means (IMO) that Jones was casting a far and wide net.

I wish we could run Jones out of town. Makes us look like jerks ALL THE TIME.

^How is brining in Glenn and Young not saying that we have to start over in two years anyway? Sure he needs to shore up the QB position, but seriously. He's going to develop a future QB over a couple of years by having Glenn and Young take all the snaps this season?

Manziel? That fine better be coming up Chris's paycheque because I don't want the team paying for that kind of stupidity. Yes, I think I would rather start again. Manziel?

Well he isn't getting run out of town anytime soon, that's for sure.

We really screwed the pooch when the Taman/Chamblin crew let Jennings go.

Absolutely terrible news over the weekend as the Lions reported that Geroy Simon's wife had passed away over the weekend.

I can't imagine what he is going through right now. I have had my seasons tickets in the same section as the players familys for years now and remember Tracy and their 2 kids growing up in front of me over the years when he was playing.

So tragic and sad, but it was amazing what I saw on social media last night with the support from ALL the teams, players, podcasters and supporters of other teams with the outpouring of support and what truly makes the CFL wonderful.

My heartfelt condolences to the Simon, Lasorsa and BC Lions families on the their loss.

Indeed. One of the better statesmen for the league. Best wishes to the family and friends.

Draft day tomorrow! Bombers get the first pick after basically stealing it from Toronto as part of the Willy trade.

(Which really makes me think, there is no in between with Toronto QB trades... they either take the other team to the cleaners or get absolutely screwed)

^ Agreed, that trade was absolutely mind blowingly bad for Toronto. When you think what Montreal gave up for Durant's rights and especially what Ottawa gave up for Tate (both of which in my opinion are better than Willy) leaves no doubt in my mind that the previous management staff had no freaking clue what they were doing anymore.

So with that #1 pick, here's who the Bombers got:

Faith Ekakitie, 6-2, 304 DT from the University of Iowa
