I am very impressed with your city Dac. There are tons of great building designs in their. The stories are great too! You should reverse those blue faces (if you ever plan on rendering this).

Keep it up!

^ He's already gone over that, he doesn't have the room on his computer to use them.

Very nice, great progress, and I love the history.

Update.................

Today's update will be one showing you the geographics of Hutchinson.

There are five major areas of the city: Downtown, St. Marks Island, Albom, and The Locks (2 seperate areas).

In this pic, it shows Downtown Hutchinson, St. Marks Island, and Albom. I've yet to do the locks.

The larger skyline is of course Downtown Hutchinson, and the smaller skyline is Albom city. Albom city is like a Co-op City/ Long Island city. It contains mid-rise brick tenaments, hotels, and office buildings. Albom city was developed in the early 60's for hotels to attract customers from the nearby Hutchinson International Airport. Now it has grown into more than that.

You will aslo notice in the pic, the currently under construction "Cross Hutchinson Expressway (the elevated highway)", and Interstate 80, "the below grade 6 land highway".

I am still working on areas of Albom right now and will post again when it's finished. Until then here's the current area.

Enjoy, and please leave a comment, a suggestion, or something you would like to see. Or all.

The Locks are on either side of Downtown Hutchinson. East Lock is like a Bronx like area (very rough, many drugs, gangs, and trouble). West Lock is like Queens/Staten Island.

I'll get more into them later.

It's just a made up name. I don't think that's a name of an actual town or borough in this case.

Lots of interesting things in there. I like the land setup too, very neat with the island in the center.

I have a suggestion, I would add some more levels of curviness to the sides of the island and river that surrounds it, because they look really pointy now on the sides, kind of like a football shape.

Keep up the great work!

Yeah I see you point. Thanks for pointing that out, and I'll fix that right away.

Update..........

Here is one bonus shot for now. I'm busy today and this is all I have time to do.
scroll>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Above is a shot of the 80 floor Concord Tower built in 1928. It held the record for tallest building in the World for 3 years and the tallest in the city for 74 years eventually surpassed by the Twins of the International Business Center. There was an observation deck on the 80th floor (now only for tenant use) and a lounge and swimming pool on the 78-79th floor open to tenants of the building. The observation deck was closed to the public because the Twins of the IBC each contained one. It did not make sense to have three clustered together.

I'll have an update again for you tomorrow.
Enjoy, and as always please leave a comment.
