I think it is kind of cool, to look up at taller skyscrapers, while looking down at the shorter ones, that were once the tallest buildings in town, all at the same time.

I mentioned in another thread that Calgary needs to ramp up the Calgary Tower another 400 feet or so in order that people can see all the buildings and see over them to the prairies, suburbs, rockies, etc. I'm sure it would help tourism too. Plus, it would just be cool to have a 1000+foot tower in western Canada.

The potain crane has been jacked up higher, really makes an impact on the skyline from a distance.
