Development economist, just out of the university of Manchester. In the past I worked with NGOs in asia, africa, and central american, but am looking for policy work with the gov't in ottawa at this point.

I came to this site a few years ago as I found out it to be far superior to emporis for keeping in the loop as to what is happening in the city.

I live in Calgary but I work for a rural para-transit organization that provides special transportation (aka handibus) in the region near Calgary. In some places.. we are the only form of public transportation.

IT (kinda) - IT signs my paycheque but I sit between IT and the business. Maybe interpreter is a better description. I can successfully translate business language into IT-understandable verbage and vice versa. Well, most of the time...

Well-well look. I already told you: I deal with the god damn customers so the engineers don't have to. I have people skills; I am good at dealing with people. Can't you understand that? What the hell is wrong with you people?

Maybe bigcanuck should look into creating and marketing a "Jumping to conclusions" mat. It would have all sorts of conclusions that you could jump to.
