Kadri!

Also Kessel scores his 20th.. first Leaf to get 20 before Christmas since 1996 when Mats Sundin scored 23.. Hopefully Kess gets a hat trick tonight.

Yay no jailtime for Iron Mike lol The charges were dropped.

I'm assuming it's because Jeremy Jacobs knows the judge. And Gregory Campbell does play for the Bruins, you know.

Wow Benoit Pouliot just scored one of the nicest goals I've ever seen in my life. What the heck happened to this guy?!

4 - 0 Bruins after 1 over Florida.

Pretty goal for sure but let's not exaggerate lol...
Not surprised though, Pouliot is skilled (hence the 4th overall pick) but he can't handle the pressure of being a top 6.

This dude also has skating problems... he falls down (as you can see on his goal) every shift or so.

"the biggest disappointment of talent in NHL history"

Jack Edwards (the Bruins annoucer) on Benoit Pouliot

I wonder what he thinks about him right now that he's playing for Boston..

No bias at all!!!

So far so good, but imo its still a little premature to be calling Kadri the real deal.

IT'S A FESTIVUS MIRACLE!

A Flames win against the Canucks, on a back to back, with our backup. What a nice early Christmas present!

This team has been looking good over the past month, great speed, quick transitions out of the zone and solid cycling in the offensive zone. It looks like Sutter's system is finally gaining traction, and I see this team only getting better once Giordano gets back.

It`s frustrating watching the Jets. They always seem to put up a good fight against the NHL`s best teams. Other times they play hard for two periods, but run out of steam in the final stretch. Sometimes, they take the weaker teams for granted, or do not show up and lose.

I know they have the talent to be a playoff team. We have a lot of young guns. Our defense has improved, but is sometimes inconsistent. The offense can use a Iginla-type leader. If only Teemu had finished his career in Winnipeg.

Overall, I think by 2015, the Jets will be Stanley Cup contenders. They will definitely be the first team to bring the Stanley Cup back to Canada.

yup yup, my thoughts exactly. Let's not proclaim him the second coming of Phil Kessel just yet.

Definitely? I think your being blinded by your passion for the team.
Not that I don't wish them well myself, but that's rather big talk about a franchise that has yet to win a single playoff game in its entire history.

I saw those games coming a couple of weeks ago and thought this stretch would pretty much put a nail in the coffin of the Flames season. Not sure what's going on?
Great to see Irving play another solid game. This kid looks for real.

Merry Christmas all!

People made fun of me when I predicted the Jets would make the playoffs. I agree with them being the first to "bring the cup back to canada"

Goalies that have scored a goal in NHL history...

Nabokov and Theodore were the last to score by intentionally shooting the puck into the net.

Charging penalties are b.s. Every hit could potentially be a charging penalty.

Wonder Twin powers activate! - form of... awesome pass. Shape of... awesome goal.

Sedins should be on the list!

Uh, no. I'm not sure what the NHL definition is, but when I played it was 3+ strides straight at an opponent, or leaving the feet.

Charging penalties are one of the easiest to avoid.
