Walking around Downtown Boston

Hello everybody! I have been regularly walking around Boston and its surrounding cities. It's quite a marvelous and open ended area, and I still manage to consistently take unique routes. Finally brought along my camera, so please join me for a fraction of one of my walks!

Pics are from Sunday morning, 8/31. I have been driving in early and parking downtown before 9 to beat the traffic, and get free metered parking for the day! Garages can cost into the $30's, but I usually pay nothing or next to nothing. Just my thing.

Anyway, allow me to show you some of Boston! We start in the financial district, progress through Downtown Crossing and Chinatown, and then take a "back route" towards Back Bay. Then we'll loop back through Downtown Crossing, near the common, and down a couple more streets back to where I parked.

Of note is the construction site with the yellow cage. This, the Millennium Tower, will be the cities 3rd tallest building, tallest downtown, and tallest built in the last 40 years!

I see you walked around Bay Village. A hidden gem, very few people get to see.

Nice tour!

I have two comments....

1) I <3 Chinatown.

2) FANTASTIC set, man. Love all the crazy narrow+twisting streetwalls.

Thanks for the comments. I actually have another similar thread incoming, showing off more of the canyon streets. Better set but smaller area covered.

In the meantime, here are a few recent skyline shots.
