That there's a blank space where a final render should long since have been drawn up is shameful.
I mean Jeebus, guys...give us *something*.

October 2018? Whoa boy, I'm only thinking about the tons of major projects going up next year right now. That would be 4 years out. Barnett's taking us for a spin, this tower is going to be mega!

According to a recent article the building will be 1440 feet with 88 floors, Seriously they couldn't have just added a few feet?

I hope it's correct though because that's still a good height.

1,440 feet would be great, but right now I'm not really believing anything until Extell comes out with an official number. There 3 or 4 possible heights going around now.

Yea, if there's anything I've learned it's not to trust articles too much, people get information wrong very often.

That article doesn't tell us anything new. We don't know the height yet, unfortunately.

Maybe not, but it is dated today (tomorrow rather) so it's recent information. But then again as I said articles get things wrong all the time so we can never be too sure.

I know developers don't care and I know the general public doesn't care but they can't add a few extra feet, or even slope the crown to have the new highest roof in the hemisphere? I'd almost be more displeased if it ended up a foot shy or the exact same height as Sears Tower

1440 is probably just the author rounding up the 1435 foot figure shown on the cantilever vs non-cantilever drawing comparisons. Of all the numbers being thrown around, this latest one has the least amount of credibility. Nothing to see here people...

Could be but wasn't the design with the cantilever intended to be 1550 feet? And since the building will now be built with the cantilever it could end up taller... or was it the other way around? Maybe we should just stick to the 1435' figure for now since it was the most official.

It just puts to rest the issue of the cantilever, and the money the ASL will now receive...

^ I did not realize some people were so vehemently opposed to this ultra luxury tower. Makes me wonder if the shadows-in-the-park garbage is to blame.
