Another One For Casa Grande? Lucid Motors Factory

http://www.bizjournals.com/sacrament...acramento.html .

First - given it has been posted in the BizJournal system I am surprised nothing on the PBJ site yet.

This one has been rumored about for a while - but kept very quiet while negotiations were ongoing - and still are as far as I know. It is not yet officially announced - though this may move up the timetable. I do not think the intention was that it be discussed today at all but RECODE got a source (former employee I guess):

The only risk is now that it is out - any other cities that may have still been in the race can now put in a more lucrative offer if they desire. So I hope this does not scuttle it.

IF it does happen it will dove tail nicely with the planned Formula One Racetrack complex planned south of CG (www.attesa.com) , as this company (according to the article) will be participating in the "Formula E" race series - F1 for EVs.

We ll see I guess.

OH - ETA - the company has changed it's name as of today to coincide with the launch of the vehicle. It is now www.lucidmotors.com .
