Indiana limestone is what all of New York's Art Deco towers are made from.

here we go . . this building will do more . .
for the refined urban aesthetic . .
of the SE corner of the Park . .
(viewed from the Wollman Rink vicinity) . .
than anything since the War . .

the pond - grand army plaza - Sherman's golden horse . .
the spooked-out crown of the Sherry - the civilized Pierre . .
the Parisian Chateau-esque Plaza - the Pulitzer fountain . .
now if only they could tear down the broader than broad GM slab . .
and give us back the double chimneyed steep pitched roof of the old Savoy . .

But welcome gracious masonry and temple crown of 520 Park. .
your cozy 780 ft presence will diminish the eyesore . .
and add to NYC's gnarly urbane ambiance exquisitely.

^ This is 220 CP and not 520 Park Ave. Too many buildings going up, easy to get confused

Two and a half blocks to the North East . .
of the heinously wide 705 ft high GM office-warehouse slab . .
rises a slender 780 feet of exemplary architecture . .
Every indication of 520 Park's higher measurement . .
is smashingly eventful ! . .
