I lived in Coquitlam for some time, and always found it pleasant, driveable AND walkable. Making it all cutsie-pedestrian will, in the long run, create huge traffic snarlups on some streets IMO. It's a recipe for mess as there are no alternate highwys to get through Coquitlam.
