Louisville is much too small of a market to make expansion pencil out with teams likely to go for well over $1 billion. Zero chance is a bit much but unlikely still. But Kentucky is crazy about basketball, just like Indianapolis.

If OKC and SLC can support an NBA franchise then not sure why Louisville's chance would be zero. Especially since Louisville already has a strong basketball culture.

I thought an NBA team played in Louisville for one or two years so I did a search and found this article instead:
