if you go to that link ^ they have webcams for about 3-4 projects

only ones missing on the site are the new Comcast building which you can get at http://www.nbcphiladelphia.com/news/...274808381.html

Also one on the Summit at http://earthcam.net/projects/hunterr...ncastersquare/

Other then these projects I'm not sure of any other webcams.

Guipos you are a king among men! Thank you sir. I only knew about the CITC one. I'll be watching these over the coming months. Hopefully we have a cooperative summer and everything can keep going full speed ahead. Does anyone else out there know of any webcams beside the ones above? (Not that I have any right to ask for more!)

On that Intech site, be sure to take a look at the "University of Pennsylvania New College House" page, then click on "View Webcam" at the end of the description, and then click on the "MAX SIZE" button in the upper left. It's the only current hi-def, real-time (albeit a bit choppy) live video streaming (as opposed to the usual time-lapse photos) of a construction site in Philly of which I'm aware. It's pretty cool when they're doing work or loading materials on the roof or on the Chestnut Street side.

I do wonder why its taking so long to get that last piece of the front wall down. Its just sitting there while they dig out the rest of the site.

Sometimes I think demo crews really have fun with their jobs. I know it's a science but I can't help but wonder if they're playing in it like some kind of adult tree house.

Agree with you on both points.

As you may have seen in my pics, I find myself trying to get full shots of Aramark, PSFS and the Reading headhouse every time I head over there....

As for the long demolition, I believe it was due to the presence of the MFL and concourse. (Wouldn't be surprised if the former store had lower entrances into the concourse just like Lit Brothers, Strawbridges, and Wanamakers.)

Where is psueng7? I'm pretty sure he might have more info on this....

I agree the Marriott is nothing special. But it i see it as a kind of innocuous background bldg. I think this is can be so because it actually does street level pretty well. Going up and down market street few other buildings are as well scaled and engaging at the street. It's kind of old timey in that regard, like a pre war apartment bldg or old hotel like the Waldorf.

I'm embarrassed to say i kind of like it.

East Market should be so much better at street level than anything we have seen in 80 years. Can't wait, actually.
