Being a long time lurker, I decided to post a few of my amateur photos.
My interest in buildings began when I took a weekend trip to Chicago. When I returned to Detroit, I began to “discover” the Detroit I had been missing. I grew up in the suburbs of Detroit and only went downtown for the Autorama Hot Rod Car Shows and Greektown.
My account on Flickr is subdivided into Detroit Photos, CBD Photos, Woodbridge neighborhood, Indian Village, Brush Park, & Night Photos.
In the Travel section, I have several from Michigan campgrounds, a large batch from NYC in 2006.
In the Misc. section, I have several shots of old cars in a few junkyards, (rare vehicles), and car show pictures. Here is a few from Detroit:

Some nice shots in there Warrenite - not sure where you got your links. Try selecting a photo - click actions - view all sizes - right click on your photo and select properties to get the correct url address. Bracket your address with and your good.

Really great shots! I appreciate the oldies too. I was living in Ann Arbor at the time many of these were taken and regularly making trips to Detroit. Construction of the new 1001 garage, People's outfitting coming down. Livingston House still standing.
I also like the Eastern Market pics, and this one is my favorite:
I have a feeling I'd better shut my mouth, still I can't help but say some of those pictures are annoying. Or let's say painful if you will.
Got a few places on my mind where most of those deserted buildings would certainly be occupied and definitely look great, in my hometown for example Let me see :
Please, I'd like the left one in the foreground and the one you can see fully in the background. You guys don't need them anymore ? Fine, just move them over here.
Okay, that's just idiotic kidding, guess they'll be eventually restored somehow.

The building on the left was renovated into the Westin Book Cadillac Hotel and the building in the background is going to be renovated into apartments.
