It is. You are looking at the start of the core for the hotel portion.

The core is taller than Three Logan Square and as tall as BNY Mellon Center so that would make it tied for #3.

Also someone was nice enough to pan back the webcam so we can see the top of the core now.

You can see 4 in the photo above if it is changing again. With the wings coming on and off at different levels I would say 7 or 8. I'll go with 8.

It would be nice to get an update of the section view through the building again to see where we are.

They finally adjusted the web camera and you can now see the top of the core and above it. Also see the river and the buildings (e.g., Evo, FMC, and Cira I) behind the core. Pretty awesome view.

Looks even better--and BIGGER--when you open up just the photo in a new tab (and this view also can be refreshed to see the latest photo):

From an awful Phillies game yesterday - weather and team performance..., anyways, you can see the CITC core is towering over IBX and taller than Bell Atlantic Tower (Three Logan Square). And will soon be surpassing the height of the pyramid atop BNY Mellon Center (actually from this angle CITC is a block further north than Mellon, so I figure CITC is already very close to Mellon's 792' height.
(oh and some towering hulk to the west impressively book ending the skyline).

Steel is starting to be visible above the buildings when walking on Walnut and from other angles.

From CBP today this thing looks like a stick. The steel is way behind the core.
