Looks like this proposal is being refreshed again. Keeping the 17s and 16s heights but changing some setbacks and asking for additional height for architectural elements.

Now let's see if the developer is serious about building this project. The land is already cleared so bring in the crews and start digging the foundations.

They appear to be cleaning up the site and doing some grading with some heavy equipment today. Hopefully they get the building permits and can start excavating the foundation soon.

Hopefully they can get Site Plan Approval and the neighbours don't hold things up. I'm pretty sure they are about to apply for the building permit and start construction.

York has at least 4 proposals for high rise residential out there by my count. Some of been out there for over 5 years and counting.

Richmond and Sunningdale
Fanshawe Park Rd near Wonderland

Most recently the King St tower and the Anne St tower proposals.

Until they prove they are serious in the residential development space I will continue to be highly doubtful that they can execute any of these projects.

I hope they finally put a shovel in the ground or sell the land to developers who can like Tricar, Old Oak, Drewlo or Medallion.

Wonderland and spring bank... Bostwick and southdale.. Yeah lets get some shovels in the ground for the towers. There subdivisions and commercial plazas are well underway though in the Southwest area. I will say they keep pushing forward on all there projects it seems. They haven't announced something and just disappeared. But I want to see cranes in the air on there tower proposal properties.

More site prep work and the construction trailer now on site. Looks promising for this project to start soon.

Well they have finally started. Tower crane went up today. Excavation for the underground parking and foundation is well along. Looks like the east tower is going to be built first.

Foundation work now started. Concrete walls now going up for underground level.

They are still working on the underground level and foundations for these two towers. Progress is not very fast so they may be running into resource or engineering issues.
