***New Orleans***

I spent some time in my favourite city over the holidays. As usual, it was a great time, and the city was bustling (Sugar Bowl, New Years Eve, Saints game). The French Quarter was fog covered for a few days, which I thought made for a pretty cool atmosphere.......Happy New Year, everyone!

Yeah no joke. Like to see a lil Memphis sometime, too.

You're gonna get some Nashville tomorrow, heading back to Memphis Friday so you'll see another thread soon.

Nice set indeed. Looks as great as it did when I was there. That will likely be where I am for college.

I was so god damned close to living in New Orleans. I was going to move there in March, but life had other plans that were out of my control. Now Im back living with my parents in suburban Houston. Oh well, wonderful photos man. I love NOLA, its such a damn wonderful gritty city.

WOW!

Thanks for this pictures of New Orleans, a city I´m wishing to visit.

I love its architecture, its pretty houses, its ambient... It must be beautiful to spend holidays there, or to live there, of course.

Congratulations and greetings from Madrid, Spain!
Happy 2012!

Fantastic set. The fog is a nice touch. My only visit was in August. I would love to visit during the holiday season. Or anytime.

The fog adds a nice, moody atmosphere to these photos. Fantastic stuff

But Ann Arbor is still a whore

What a great set of photos, looking at these really make me want to visit. I've already discussed it with my wife trying to make up our minds on where to go on our next trip.

This is UNREAL:

Anyway, I'm seriously considering a transfer to New Orleans and your pictures are quite a good incentive. I was just looking at your last NOLA thread from March and damn, I'm in awe. Thank you!

Both times I've been, friends have lived in Baton Rouge... they've just moved down the i-10 into Texas. Is Houston as interesting as N.O? Guessing not!

Some of the very best that American urbanity has to offer.
