Wow, this is really in poor taste, but I found it pretty funny.

All the radio signal senders, radar stuff of the army will be put in the antenna and spire of the Burj Dubai. So I think none of all the other antenna's of any building in Dubai will be used, or maybe for a small radio sender.

Kinda awkward with a roof height more than hundred meters lower than the total height. But who cares, no tower (Russia Tower, Spire, Shanghai Center etc.) is even close to matching the Burj Dubai anyway.
Pretty harsh on the Chicagoans getting their dick chopped off, again, though.
I agree, I think the spire looks good in that rendering as well.

I havent been keeping up too much with Dubai projects, but I've always had a soft spot for this building. Its a nice design, but I too am somewhat dissapointed with the addition of the spire. If they wanted to extend the height of the building, an extention of the buildings crown would have been much better. I suppose this must be cheaper.

I think it looks better. The double spires make it look complete.

I don't think the spire(s) looked so nice on that new rendering.
I hope it turns out better in reality.
And not like that weird spire on top of the Rose Tower in Dubai.

Are you kidding? This is definitely the best tower in the area (not because of height).

I wonder how they plan on having live trees on the outside of the building at 300m in the air.
