loopy

Was in Chicago this weekend. Got drunk, stumbled around. Weather was horridly overcast the entire time. I did spend a lot of time in northcentral, wrigleyville, lakeview, west lake view? old town and lincoln park, but no pics, i was tired and hungover and probably walked about ten miles in a day.

Okay bye.

Seriously, how can you have a chicago thread without the bean?

One of my first skycraper memories as a kid

BCBC of IL, pretty much socialized healthcare.

bean.........

no complaints about the old school

I heard from a cop on a Segway that its state law you have to take your picture in the bean

okay, the last one I swear. And no I don't think I do it better than anyone else, I just cant help....taking....pictures...of....giant....reflective....shiny....bean

we don't have cranes in cleveland, so I have to travel 6 hours west

old and new hanging out together

skycraper canyon-tastic

street wall facing out towards the lake

ditto

red, and still peculiar to this day.

up up and away!

sure, now I find the sign for the podcast type dealies

I couldn't bring myself to pony up the money for the observation deck (is it still open anyway?) with the weather being so poopy.

Like rio, except with more poles.

this building fades away like colday's sex life.

yeah, there she is again.

bump bump bump

blue #1

blue #2

bah

okay, more bumps, couldn't resist.

old style!

mayor daley gave me the keys to the city.

honk honk

zoom zoom

i just love the collection of big modern glassies next to sears.

again.

and again

okay, I'm done.

i hear living in the loop really isn't that fun.

if i get crazy, i may end up working in this building.

somehow, this building looks neato with the scaffoling. I would keep it permanent and make it glass.

we may be getting a medical mart, but it will never compare to this beauty.

reaching upwards.

go back to schaumburg!

makes me think of cleveland.

see how crappy the clouds are?

meh.

everyone's favorite car park.

bridgey.

bye!

I can't stop looking at reflective things either.

THIS made me laugh. A lot.

I'm glad the man purse was identified, otherwise I wouldn't be convinced this was a thread made by the pope.
