It looks like there has been some good progress on Fuse.

Pulse is close to ground level now too, I think! This will be a great jump-start for the east village. The biggest project on the books for the entire neighbourhood being the first to get done! Not bad.

I'm still blown away by how much progress EV is seeing. Three condo towers, a National Music Centre, already going, not to mention a new library and hotel just around the corner. Good times for sure.

Don't forget about the St. Patrick's Island Bridge and the Elbow Traverse already underway. Not to mention Verve and Riverhouse which should be starting in the not-so-distant future as well. Three years ago I don't think anyone could have predicted the progress we are seeing. It will be an actual neighbourhood soon.

I was always pessimistic about how long it would take EV to get going, this is much more progress than I ever imagined

I also thought it would take many years to get a shovel in the ground once the plan was developed. But it seems like a lot of the projects came to fruition all at once. I also heard that Riocan's building is not far behind. Exciting to see this area build up so quickly.

I'm really hopeful about the Rio Can retail development. That is going to sweet.

The Riocan development would be a huge deal for East Village. We already have lots of good stuff going in, just need some solid retail.

I see that the Riocan is going to be about 6 - 8 floors tall... I wonder what is going above the 1 - 3 floors of retail? Would be nice to see a hotel, but I assume it's office?
