Yeah that lot is really small so it's gotta be a highrise.

This is the second tower in AMLI's Lenox project, I assume? In the earlier renderings it looked similar to the first tower but of course they could have changed it.

Once they finish the Complete Streets makeover for East Paces and a few of the other developments on the books, that area will be nicely urbanized. Better, in my opinion, than the Related Group's mega project that was proposed about ten years ago.

This will actually be AMLI's 4th project in that area. From the pic below, parcels A & D are completed, parcel B is under construction and they are on the 3rd floor and the Flatiron will be on parcel C.

Wow, that’s a great visualization! I knew they built two, but didn’t realize he third was already under construction. This area is great for kid and high rises. Walkable to tons of jobs and transit access. Plus they have access to this new park and the existing Lenox Park.

So the Flatiron project will go on the entire C lot? I guess that changes what I was thinking earlier when I said it was a small lot. Can they actually include some retail in that area for once?

Tuesday's Midtown DRC

Note the 675 West Peachtree is the building Amazon is rumored to be leasing 1 Million sqft for their HQ2. AT&T is existing the building in Q4. Yet another data point that signals Atlanta will be the city selected.

If it was good enough for O.C.P., it's good enough for Amazon, damnit.

Right now, 500K sq. ft. of ready-to-move in space is at a premium.

Not to be negative, but it is possible that Amazon *could* have Atlanta in mind for a smaller office and not HQ2 as well.

Phipps Plaza Redevelopment - New Renderings

Much nicer than the original renderings. You can also see the Food Hall at the bottom of the Lifetime Fitness building. Demolition is scheduled to start in late August on the Belk store. Buckhead is getting so much density. Across the street a 350 foot Ritz Carlton hotel is in the planning stages as well.

Just I reminder, I posted news from a source I have back in early May Amazon had focused their immediate HQ2 office needs on this building....

The exterior not very exciting, but I had a meeting with AT&T's Big Data Team a couple of years ago and the interior is really nice.

Shout out to you for always being here to connect the dots. It does make sense considering they requested 500k move in ready office space right away.

Atlanta 3000, you are winning the Woodward & Bernstein investigative reporting award.

If, in the end, you really are shown to be correct, truly WELL DONE, Atlanta 3000 !!!

Thanks so much for sharing your insights and updates - and visuals !

Any idea on Amazon's HQ2 announcement timing - beyond "by end of 2018"?

And what of across the street Ponce & 3rd block?
