So I noticed today the Independent from I-35 poking above the roof of The Plaza. Also, this thing is going to look amazing from I-35 north of downtown as you're passing UT on the upper deck. It's starting to be noticeable from there. I wish I'd brought the camera with me earlier, but I was in a hurry to run an errand in North Austin.

It appears they are getting ready to have a second webcam called "skyline". That might be pretty cool. But it's obviously not ready yet.

That first offset is really subtle. I had to go back to the rendering to validate that. The next offset will be more noticeable because it protrudes more and is a taller floor. This is the somewhat dramatic shift I wish was repeated to the top with some north / south offsets. But holy crap this thing is going up fast. Its already a neck strainer.
