Life and How to Live It by R.E.M. - This song is about Brivs Mekis, a man who built a wall in the middle of his house. He would live on one side for a while, then switch to the other when he got bored. When he died, they found huge piles of a book in his closet that he wrote and had published, but never gave to anyone. The book was titled Life - How To Live.
