Slowly more and more buildings are getting properly lit in the Exchange. Hope the trend continues.

Am very curious what may be going in there!

The low-rise density on James/Market is quite something as it. And Streetside's District Condo 137/139 Market is coming to market very soon - been told it will be before the end of the year.

Not sure if old, but I see where Boa is, now has "Silk" branding on the windows. Is this a bar?

Yeah it's essentially the same place. I don't give it very long... barely doing any promotion.

Considering that they changed this 2-3 months ago... you can see what kind of exposure it's getting.

Yeah I'm really curious since it's a pretty small lot, and there are two large brick buildings right on either property line.

Looking on Google Maps, the property doesn't look much smaller than what 98 Market is building on. Theoretically, the way the area is zoned, they could build right up to each property line, almost like 128 and 132 James. I guess that's why the Strand has a big blank wall on that side of the property.

I thought the rule for new bars is "promote the shit out of it", because it seems 441 Main is doing well, and sure enough they're the only one I recall promoting significantly...

The difference with 98 Market being that they have space around their property line. The North side is the parking lot in question, and a dead end of Elgin. The South side is their approach into the property and the Impark single story building, so the windows don't look directly into a brick wall.

Could have windows just on the north and south side of something built on 104/106/108 James with a hall running east/west maybe?

Possibly. 132 James is similarly built. Or perhaps a row-house style similar to Porter?

Row-housing would be cool, given the redevelopment across the street.
