Wow, I definitely would enjoy living there. Thanks for the excellent photo tour of the Northwest hoods. Oh, and I hope the owners of Potato get her back.

Thanks

I'm very late looking at your photos but I want to tell you how much I'm enjoying them. When I moved out of my folks Irvington house at the age of 18 I headed straight to NW. I loved the dense urban character of the neighborhood. It's such a beautiful mix of apartments, houses, businesses and residents.
Thanks again for the great photos. I think I'll visit Sellwood next.

For the life of me I can't understand why a friend of mine who was orginally from NYC had not desire to live in Portland when offerened to chance to move with her job. Now I could understand had she still lived in Los Angeles, but she was in Fresno and her position was elimated, and a job offer with the same company in Portland.

Perhaps had she seen these beautiful photos this would have changed her mind. Also this makes me want to check this city out. I'm actually trying to figure out where to go for a vacation this year thats closer to home, so who knows.

Thanks for posting these pics. I really liked that section of Portland, very casual and urban without feeling overcrowded. Great architecture too.
