Dodge Grand Caravan

Meet the new van - 2006 ( @ $2700 ) , replaces the old van - ( 2001 @ $5000 ) which lasted 5 years and died teaching my eldest that the left turn arrow doesn't go on after 7pm on some intersections.

I drive a 2009 Mini Cooper Clubman. If you hate money, it's a great little car.

I definitely wouldn't call any Caravan/Voyager/(recent)T&C "Classic Mopar"

Maybe in a while the original models will deserve that title, I'll grand you that. They were indeed an industry milestone.

Yes you're right the 1995 model year was the last of the classic caravan . On YouTube there are many videos of heavily modified caravans

First Plymouth Voyager minivan ('84 model) at the Walter P. Chrysler Museum, so, classic enough

The Dodge Caravan - or the Magicwagon - should go down in history as one of the most influential cars in history. Right up there with the Model T, the VW bug and the 1955 Mercedes SL 350.

The GMC Safari shouldn't be in the history books, but it should get its due. It can be a minivan, a camper van and a cargo van, whereas the Magicwagon was more an evolved station wagon. The Safari actually had a pretty sharp design for an American car of its time, and when it's modded out, it actually still looks pretty sweet:

My Canyon at the bottom of an abandoned limestone quarry - closest I could get to a Canyon in a canyon.

We had that exact model, color and trim when I was a kid, except is was a Caravan rather than a Voyager. I think we were the first people in town to have a minivan.

I'll never forgive the minivan for killing off the station wagon

I have a station wagon now (Subaru), but you're right, there isn't much choice out there.

Incidentally, someone in my neighbourhood has two gigantic Roadmaster wagons circa early 90s

It's not my car, but I was pretty excited to see an Aston Martin on the 401 today. Probably a Vantage from what I can tell, but I'm not as well informed as some in these things.

My good old 6.5 Chevy truck, pic taken yesterday evening on historic Route 66.

I maintain it myself
It just carried a two-ton cooling tower gearbox over a couple thousand kms without the slightest problem. (While burning only dead dino oil on this trip, and I changed the fuel pump and fuel filter before I left. Couldn't take the risk of getting stranded this time.)

Good thing your car tastes are better than your photography skills.
It was a photo for Instagram and wanted to avoid showing the street name of where I live if I pointed the phone camera higher.
