I was out taking pictures this morning around the warehouse district for my arch. studio project and decided to continue my tour around downtown. the weather was overcast but nice out temperature wise. lots of new development going on, but still a lot of parking lots. i hope they're gritty enough for everyone.

nice interesting set of pics, plus a little grit. my favorite is the old crane/winch. warehouses remind me a little of the Vista in Columbia before its gentrification ramped up about 4-5 years ago.

Raleigh and Lexington, KY are almost twins of each other

I don't think I've seen a lot of Raleigh pics before. Thanks for posting.

yes, the first several come from western ave and saunders st. then i spent time going from glenwood ave south to the warehouse district and looped back around. i didn't get a chance to go over east of the capital area, but there is a good amount of development over there as well.

Interesting set. Usually when I think of Raleigh, I think of lots of sprawl.

Not the usual Raleigh fare we get on here. Nice tour, thanks for the change of pace.
