Wow, almost looks like a rendering in that last shot.

Yes, it's nice. But actually it could have been better if the NIMBY's didn't get it reduced in height in and turned into a slab, instead of a point tower.

Darn NIMBY's! Well I guess I never saw renderings of how good it could of looked, but a few extra floors would have been nice.

Does anybody know what is happening (or not!) to the south wall of the podium?
Every time I pass it on the GO train the south wall looks very unfinished. There's exposed breeze-blocks, vents and insulation, and the red brick cladding that's on the east and west sides just creeps round the corner to the south wall, but the way the brickwork sits, it looks like it's intended to be completed across the whole south wall.

I hope they do something about it, because at the moment it looks very ugly.

That's the west wall. When I last went by a few weeks ago the south wall still hadn't been completed.

the south wall had a delay because of track work by Metrolinx (They were replacing the original 1920's track switches leading into Union station). Now that the work is finished, the brick on the south wall is going up.

This project is effectively complete.

Oh that's good to know. It infuriated me every time I went by to see the unfinished brick work when the rest of the building looked completed.
