Sofia 2016 (part 2)

Also see part 1. This part features more commieblocks and also shows you the National Palace of Culture (NDK), a large congress center from 1981. All photos taken with the Sony RX100 compact camera from 12 to 14 October 2016.

75. The "1300 years Bulgaria" monument celebrates the founding of the country. After it was completed in 1981 the monument felt into disrepair because of poor construction.

Nice photos as usual. Some of those residential areas look quite depressing, but seem to be full of residents. Are they lively neighbourhoods? Where do the old people and young kids enjoy themselves?
