Been on vacation so I missed some of the most recent news; didn't go far; just to Washington DC.

So, I'm just guessing now but with this new piece going onto Comcast Tech today is the height around 1089' to 1090'?

If so this would mean Comcast Tech just passed Salesforce and if this is true; Philly has the tallest building east of the Rockies outside New York and Chicago; and the tallest building outside of New York, Chicago, and LA! I'm not sure if I'm right but its looking good. This thing is moving fast.

I don't know if it will top off by Thanksgiving but at this rate it could top off by December 2017.

I find it hard to believe that it would be permanent.

They are temporary cooling towers that were placed there until the ones at the top of the building were functioning. They will be removed at some logistically logical point.

has anyone ever seen anything coming from this unit? If it's a cooling tower you will see water vapor rising on cooler days when it will condense to the point of being visible. I don't recall ever seeing anything coming from this box, in person or in pics.

It's not as exciting as the lantern going up but they're also making some progress on the cladding over the, whatever those things are called that stick out of the east face of the building , looking good there as well. Gotta get that blue seran wrap off though

I saw them adding some at like 2:00. We'll get a better look in the daylight tomorrow.

We should see the ceremonial tree and union number go up when it’s topped off too.
