MINNEAPOLIS | 365 Nicollet | 334 FT | 30 FLOORS

And yet another 30ish story apartment building with a parking podium.

Jeeeezzzz! That's about as good as it's going to get in Minneapolis I'm afraid....Not a bad design, but man this 300' limit is pretty uninspiring!

Fairly big residential. The unit count is not bad. Good thing that these residentials are popping up in the area. Add more zest to the street life with the added influx of residents. Opus Group btw makes some nice midrises. Some of their designs are not bad, and they tend to have designs which are not saturated in color and incorporate retail into the base well.

Thanks for posting. It is a good start for sure. I am not going to hold my breath for anything over 500' in the near future, but some infill will be nice. It also reduces the available lots, putting more and more premium on those left...increasing prices...which will lead to bigger, higher-end developments.

It will be interesting to see if the new stadium generates more excitement into the Eastern part of downtown. There is a lot of space for the taking (buying).

^^ kenratboy: I agree... I'm not holding my breath for anything remotely close or over 500+ in the next 3-4 years! ^^

There was an existing thread, I've merged the two.

Ritz Residences construction Minneapolis 4-8-17 by Matt Bappe, on Flickr

This one is far into construction with the parking base being built and the first floor of the actual tower showing up.

Nearly complete here. Leasing center opened in the retail bay on Marquette last week. Not happy about the materials on this one-- the glass curtain wall portion is OK, but the inset precast is awful, and this may be the worst parking podium we've seen here, something about the way it lines up with the family court building when looking SE down 4th is particularly disturbing. Hope Opus hurries up with Phase II so we don't have to look at the backside of this thing for long!
