It does look to me like they are adding on the bronze finish. If you look carefully at harry's pictures you'll be able to see the difference in color. Sadly, it isn't nearly as pronounced as I would like it to be.

The color difference you are seeing looks to me like bare concrete, as if the rest of the panels have had the final finish applied but these areas were left bare in order to accept something else. My thought is that we are not yet looking at the final product and we should give it some more time.

You might be right, but I thought all the panels were pre-cast. Wouldn't they just do the finish in the shop instead of 50 stories up on an already assembled panel? I don't know.
