"A lot" was an understatement.
The Lofts Downtown building almost complete.
The Centuria is at about 12-14 floors up.
Playa del Sol is looking amazing.
Aria Condos in the Westbank Town Center are going up like crazy.
There's a whole shitload of things going up.
Pardon my French.

Somebody please post an updated skyline shot, or a rendering of the future skyline.

I was going to ask the same thing. Any Skyline shot or panoramic views of Kelowna?

Well there are two new "large" additions to the skyline, so maybe I'll do some work and take a few.

From www.movekelownaforward.com - the little pics of this project posted earlier didn't do it justice.

I'm jealous of this development. It will make some great public spaces, something Vancouver lacks in terms of squares/plazas.

^ That project in it's current form is squashed. The nimbys tore it to shreds. While the buildings themselves aren't anything too exciting, the way they meet the street and create a great public space is something lacking on Kelowna's downtown waterfront. Considering that the park that sits there now is only good for scoring crack or meth, this was a pretty big loss to the city. Hopefully, another proposal will return, but with a few adjustments.

More highrises & apartments
by Ron Manz - Power 104 - Story: 33993
Sep 28, 2007 / 1:00 pm

Plans shown to the public Thursday for redevelopment of the downtown core in Kelowna include demands for more highrise tower business and apartment complexes.

The hope is such construction can help revitalize the four-block area from Water to Abbott and Queensway to Highway 97.

City spokesman Doug Gilchrist says the focus isn't on skyscrapers though.

He says the plans call for a mix of commercial, retail and residential use.

An open house to view the plans was held at the Rotary Arts Centre.

Yep. Medican developments (the ones who are building the condos in Westbank) are doing two projects in Lake Country.

Sonata Ridge - no info yet other than it'll be four floors

The Conservatory is being built at a pretty slow pace, but it's quicker than before.
Westin is dead.
The Centuria is nearing completion.
The Lofts are completed.
There's a 6 story office building being built downtown on Water and Leon and it looks great. I'll try to find some pictures for it.

The development in my neighborhood (10,11,14,18 story condos) is going ahead with the 4 story units being built right now.

Here's a photo from mmmbry at Skyscrapercity.com:

This is the downtown redevelopment plan.
Personally... I think those towers look too repetitive, and they all don't need to be that large. More variety and mid-rises would be better.

I got a lot of the info from Move Kelowna Forward. You can check it out in my sig. They'll have news on almost every single development in Kelowna.
