Quincy, MA

I was lucky enough to accompany a friend of mine on a business trip to Massachusetts last week and was able to take a bunch of pictures of various cities while I was there, including Provincetown, Springfield, Chicopee, Holyoke, Worcester and Boston. Anyway, I thought I would start with Quincy, a city of about 88,000 just South of Boston.

Cool! I've never seen Quincy. Looking forward to the rest of the MA pics!

I've never seen Quincy before. It looks nice, but it doesn't look like a Massachusetts town from what I am used to. It's interesting.

Sweetness. Quincy is interesting because of it's large and still growing Asian population. You can't really see that in these pics, since most of the businesses are located in North Quincy and thereabouts, but there are glimpses.

Thanks for the pics! Looking forward to the others (wow, Holyoke?)

Yes, I only had time to walk around downtown. A friend of mine used to live in Quincy and there are a lot of other interesting neighborhoods.

I couldn't find it when I first posted this thread, but, I was in Boston/Quincy in 2006 and took this cool picture of Boston from the beach in Quincy. Thought I'd share it as well.
