Was 3 World Trade Center (the Marriott Hotel) connected to the Twin Towers?

According to Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marrio...d_Trade_Center), the hotel was connected to the North and South Towers (the Twin Towers) of the original World Trade Center, and many went through the hotel to get to them. This website called "EMPORIS" (https://www.emporis.com/buildings/11...rk-city-ny-usa) also says that the hotel was connected to the Twin Towers.

But this image from a website called "AwesomeStories" (https://www.awesomestories.com/image...3362e69a6d.jpg) doesn't show anything connecting the hotel and the Twin Towers together.

So was the hotel actually connected to the Twin Towers?

Ok, I got it. I edited it to make sure that the website that I got the image from was credited for the image.

The connection was underground, beneath the plaza. I'm pretty sure the entire complex was connected.

Only the North Tower (1 WTC) had a direct connection to the hotel, but like spidey said the connection was on the mall concourse level, underneath the plaza. You could access the South Tower via the North Tower and the mall.
Here is a map of the concourse level showing the connection.

Here is a simpler map with green arrows showing the entry points for the buildings on the concourse level.

Can you see it like this?

Plaza Level (No connection)

Concourse Level (Connection between 1 and 3 WTC)

The other image is far too large and detailed to embed directly into a post.
