Which playoff team do you want to win?

I know there's a 2012 playoff thread, but it doesn't have a poll. Soooo.... who are you rooting for?

The hated Canucks or Flyers? A surprise team liker Nashville or Ottawa? Maybe the Caps? An underdog like Florida?

This one doesn't seem to have a poll either.

Could a mod add a poll to one of the threads?? Jeez!

Poll needs more than one option. I want Ottawa (insane dark horse long shot), but beyond that, anyone but Vancouver suits me.

Although I wouldn't object to another game 7 shutout riot. That had people from all over the globe asking me WTF was up with polite, well-behaved Canadians all of a sudden.

Yeah, multi-choice would be ideal. I can't decide, really.

Possibly in order:

Blues, Hawks, Sharks, Sens, Kings, Caps, Preds, Pens, Bruins, Rangers... I'd be cool with any of those.

Gonna root for my home team, even though I don't think we'll win the cup. At least we're the only Canadian team in the east that got into the playoffs.

(Much love to Montreal, my second favourite team)

Are we going to get the whinny Canucks fans in here telling us that because they made the playoffs that we should cheer for them? No team is "Canada's Team" in the NHL.??? The Senators weren't Canada's team when they made their run, neither were the Oilers or Flames, and neither was the Canucks last year. It's idiotic to think someone will cheer for a division rival.
I picked Philly... I think they are pretty tough team to beat this year...
I wouldn't choose ABV, because there's a few other teams I despise in the playoffs this year.
I will folllow/root for St Louis, Chicago, Boston and the Rangers...

There should be an "Anybody but Boston" option for us Easterners...

Oh well... voted Blues. Preds are second.

I'm saying Pittsburgh. I'd like to see Sid win the cup again, especially after being out for so long.

Also there should be an "anybody but Ottawa" option given that there are no team Canada's, and seeing how the other Canadian team has that option to appease people in Alberta, maybe Ottawa should be given that option to appease their rivals? Unless they don't have rivals (which I highly doubt).

It's idiotic to make this sort of statement when it's proven false every single time this discussion comes up.

Plenty of people cheer for division rivals. Not all of us are the mindless drooling masses who only will ever cheer for the single team that plays in the city they happened to be born in (or insert other factor here, but birth region covers off easily 90% of loyalties in pro sports).

You mean you Montrealers. There are actually quite a few bruins fans here in the maritimes.

I always go for the Wings when the Habs are out. St. Louis or Nashville would be cool too.

Definitely not Boston or Philadelphia!

It's really not that common...

I'm not sure who you are referring to by "mindless drooling masses", or how it relates to my comment.

Barcelona in the Champs League: Messi is kewl, Ronaldo is a twat.

Man Yoo in the Premiership: Rooney and Welbeck are fun to watch, while City is a soulless corporate conglomerate.

It's a long shot for those teams to win the Stanley Cup. I'm thinkin' Tiger Woods myself. He's really starting to pull his game together lately.

St. Louis or Nashville. Don't really want anybody in the east to win.

Vancouver and Ottawa can go f*** themselves.
