Thanks for these. Rarely see Madrid on here. Really need to visit there once. That and Barcelona.

Suburbia knows no nationality it seems; this could be anywhere. Great shots Danny!

Nice pictures! Madrid is one of my favourite cities in Europe and it is nice to see some "normal" areas for instance.
Barajas Airport is very cool.

What part of the city do you live in? From which direction are we looking in most of these photos? I ask, because some of these shots look almost like they could be out of some Western American city.

Thanks again for all these nice comments, Nightsky, Bedhead, AviationGuy, Xander202, Nineties Flava and LMich.

@LMich: I live in Canillas, a neighbourhood in the district of Hortaleza, in the northeastern side of Madrid city. Some pictures are taken in direction Northeast, to Madrid Barajas Terminal 4, some others in direction South, for instance those about the funfair. None of them are taken in direction West, where it would be the centre of Madrid, because the views from my parents´ home look to the North, East and South.

What you say about the similarity with some Western American cities, I don´t really think so, though I have only visited L.A. and S.F., so I can´t say.

Greetings from Madrid, Spain.
