Wow Kuwait really popped up out of nowhere! This tower is so tall, but doesn't look that tall. It's an illusion!

this tower is delicious. the glass looks pretty good (not amazing, but great), great use of limestone, fantastic design, it's nearly perfect.

I wish more middle eastern countries focused on density rather than cars. Density had mostly been part of middle eastern history and seeing this tower next to that huge intersection with that huge podium gives me jitters... it would look fantastic with an open air mall with dozens of boutique styled shops (which are more exclusive) and several courtyards scattered around (cladded in limestone). Roof top plaza's and cafe's would finish it off perfectly

those LED's however... they kick 90% of China's LED shows.

I especially love the nighttime lighting scheme.

I'm pretty impressed with this tower. I love the form, especially as a silhouette. The contrast between the glass and the stone interior is delicious, though the glass could have used a bit more detail. It has a few flaws, but the lighting scheme helps to compensate for some of those things. Very original. All around a good tower and that's nice to see in this region.

I really have to say Kuwait City is easily the most tasteful city in the middle east. There's nothing pretentious nor at the same time conservative about its skyline. Even the needle seems appropriate.

What flaws? I think its stone form gives it immense meaning and character.

I look at Kuwait City and think, in another world, this could have been Baghdad...

I'm not sure if this turned out better than the renderings or worse. The cladding INDUBITABLY looks different.

Amazing!!! Kuwait City has a very impressive skyline! This is definitely one of the more impressive modern supertalls I've seen recently. I wonder what this building would've looked like in a city like Miami or New York.

It wouldn't look that good in NY, especially with that sand-colored look...
